The title, lyric, and song ideas were originally from the early nineties, and now finally Immortalized on the album.”ĭemonaz also offered some more background on the process of making “War Against All”: “Even though the studio work is necessary to get an ultimate recording, the writing process is obviously my favorite. I went through some of my old material and unused lyrics. I wanted to capture that feeling again, the Immortal way. Some of it’s classic tracks had heavy opening riffs that developed into fast devastating fury and tempo.
Celtic Frost’s album To Mega Therion from 1986 was an inspiration to me this time. I thought it was about time to give the fans a track in the «Tyrants» again. The band’s founder Demonaz stated about the single: “‘Wargod’ is the heaviest song on the album. Now, IMMORTAL have shared the lyric video for the single “Wargod”. The album was produced in Bergen, Norway, at Earshot & Conclave Studios. This is the band’s 10th studio album, and it will feature 8 new songs in classic IMMORTAL style. IMMORTAL new record, “War Against All,” will be released via Nuclear Blast Records on May 26th.
